Malawi National Television MBC Director General George Kasakula has come to the public to disclose their plan to establish another public broadcasting television station MBC TV2 before the end of 2022.
In his words Mr Kasakula made it clear that he has already secured a license from MACRA for the new station and the project is now on the final phase. “We are done with the issue of licensing, the TV station will come to life before the end of this year, we have decided to do this with an aim of giving our viewers a great chance of watching sports games on the new station without disturbing with other paid programs among others” Kasakula added.
The remarks comes at a time MBC has secured the TV rights to beam Afcon 2022 live where Malawi the Flames are representing the nation on the continental show piece following its qualification in 2021.#Innocent Mvundula#Avant publications ✍️
