The Black Missionaries Band has distanced themselves from social media claims that members of the Band were picked for interrogation by Mzuzu Police.
According to the press release yesterday, the Band acknowledges the fact that they used the same bus in question. However, the Driver of the bus and his assistant were on call by police over their own disagreement.
“The truth of the matter is that the driver of the bus and his assistant were called for interrogation and no members of the Band is involved. ” The Black Missionaries Band
Some quarters are of the view the Band must avoid hiring public transports to preserve its reputation.
“It’s high time the Band should buy a coaster or have one or two official mode of transportation to mitigate these scenarios in future ” a comment from Alfred Chirwa
