Afro pop musician Dan Lufani has attacked the Tonse led administration in his newly released track titled ‘Ankolo bodza’ (Uncle you are a liar).
The song starts with a quote from vice president Saulos Chilima saying “once we win on 23 June i will not only be the vice president but also the minister of finance.”
The artist reminds Chilima that he promised the masses that fuel will not be hiked unfortunately the Uncle lied.
The Lozani Zanu hit maker reminds the Tonse leaders that when you lie the content comes around.
Dan Lu also inserted the voice of United Democracy Front (UDF) president Atupele Muluzi which was extracted from the 2019 presidential debate in which Muluzi told president Chakwera that he has never been in government and he does not know how to run a government.
Dan Lu locked the nation during the run up to 2019 general elections with his ‘Lozani Zanu’ hit in which he praised former president Peter Mutharika for his developmental projects. The song became DPP’s Anthem.
After the Constitutional Court nullified the 2019 presidential election Dan Lu returned with a new track titled ‘Team A’.
In the ‘Team A’ track the artist offered his total support to president Peter Mutharika and his running-mate Atupele Muluzi citing they were the only hope, this was prior to 2020 fresh presidential election.
