Super league of Malawi (Sulom) has announced that they are in partnership with Old Mutual Life Assurance Company.
The partnership will see the company sponsoring the player of the match,player of the week and player of the month Awards for the remaining 171 TNM Super league matches.
Sulom President Tiya Somba Banda says the coming in of Old Mutual to our game of football will bring competitiveness among Super league teams and players
“Football is a competitive sport and the only way to win is to make sure that our players and teams are also competitive,We believe that the partnering of Old Mutual will henence and develop a high performance culture amongst our teams and players.
“As you aware covid-19 is within us and it looks to be with us for sometime,because of that most of our teams are unable to reward their players or even to give them good wage.
“We believe this partnership will help to give the financial reward to players and create a high perfomance and competitive spirit in the game,”he said.
