The Malawi National Football Team (The Flames)’s head coach Meke Mwase who was recently diagnosed of COVID-19, on Saturday has tested negative.
This means that Meke Mwase will be able to travel with the Flames on Monday to South Africa.
In South Africa the team is expected to take part in COSAFA cup games’ group B and it will play against Madagascar.
The other team that will participate is Zambia’s Chipolopolo.
Currently group B is composed of three teams namely; Malawi, Madagascar and Zambia. This follows the pullout of Comoros due to COVID-19.
