Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) has named the final squad for Malawi Queens ahead of this year’s Vitality Netball World Cup.
The tournament will take place in Cape Town, South Africa from 28th July to 6th August.
Players that have made into the final squad are shooters Sindi Simtowe, Mwai Kumwenda, Jane Chimaliro, Joyce Mvula; defenders Caroline Mtukule, Lauren Ngwira, Towera Vinkhumbo, Grace Mwafulirwa, Madalitso Mkandawire; Mid-Court Takondwa Lwazi, Thandi Galeta and Martha Dambo.
Shabel Bengo, Salome Nkhoma and Florence Ganuka appear on the reserve list.
Malawi Queens are in Pool B along side England, Scotland and Barbados.
Australia, Tonga, Zimbabwe and Fiji are in Pool C while Jamaica, South Africa, Wales and Sri Lanka are in Pool C.
Pool D contains New Zealand, Uganda, Trinidad & Tobago and Singapore.
