Malawi Claims Tournament Title in Under-20 4 Nations

The Under-20 4 Nations Tournament, Malawi faced off against Kenya at Silver Stadium. At halftime, Malawi surged ahead 2-0, with Savielli stealing the spotlight as he assisted the Junior Flames in securing a commanding lead.

As the match reached the 64th minute mark, Kenya managed to pull one goal back, narrowing the score to 2-1.

However, Malawi’s determination prevailed, and they sealed their victory with a third goal in the 95th minute, ending the game 3-1 and claiming the championship over the Junior Kenyans.

The Football Association of Malawi has pledged to support the victorious Junior Flames, winners of the under-20 4 Nations Tournament. The team clinched victory by defeating Kenya 3-1, securing a total of 6 points.

Each player and officials will receive One Million Kwacha each in support of their achievement.

Meanwhile, at Champions Stadium in Mponela, Dowa, Civil Service United and Silver Strikers battled it out to a goalless stalemate. Despite the lack of goals, the match was filled with excitement and a few scoring opportunities for both sides.
