ENGLAND BATTLE AUSTRALIA IN THE FINALS OF THE NETBALL WORLD CUP 2023

England has reached the finals for the first time after defeating the defending champions, New Zealand with 46 baskets to 40. England faces Australia tommorrow the 6th of August at 6pm.

New Zealand will face Jamaica to settle for the the 3rd and 4th placings respectively at 4pm.

Wales and Fiji are to finish on 9th and 11th positions whilst Scotland and Trinidad and occupy 10th and 12th position.

The netball world championship started in 1963 and the competition has been dominated primarily by Australia’s Diamonds and New Zealand’s Silver Ferns, who won the last edition in Liverpool, England in 2019.
