Police in Mangochi are asking farmers, whose cattle are stolen, to come and identity the animals at Mangochi Police Station.
Law enforcers manning Mgoza roadblock which is along Malindi road in the district intercepted four cattle in the wee hours of August 9, 2021 in an unregistered Toyota Dyna motor vehicle. However, one animal has died.
Three among the five suspects who were ferrying the cattle jumped out of the vehicle upon being halted at the roadblock and the two detained are not disclosing where they got the animals.
Police are therefore advising concerned ones to visit the station or any nearest police in order to identify the animals.
