Avantmalawi has gathered reports from Mzuzu, that Sana Cash & Carry Northern Mall is practicing theft by trick type of business.
According to the source, some of their product on sale are labeled with stickers showing cheaper prices yet in their system they charge a different price higher than the one displayed.
The anomaly has been rumoured but Malawians took it for granted till a young lady went to buy some stuffs including snow flake easy mix powder.
The young lady name withheld got attracted with the chepeast price on display which was K1, 348 only to find out that the receipt shows she paid K1, 685. Upon realising the huge difference she went back to the Till operator to ask for clarification on the figure but she was told point blank that, the price on her receipt is in their system not the one on display and there is nothing they can do about it.
Avant publications reporters in Mzuzu took the receipts back to Sana Northern Mall for verification only to be told by the Mall supervisor rudely, to go anywhere to complain and seek for assistance if they think they will be assisted since to them the complaint is baseless and nothing in nature.
Avantmalawi is left with million dolar questions as to how many of us fall victims of Sana Cash & Carry in the sense of being customers who couldn’t recognise the problem because of buying in bulky or have no interest to check the receipts? And as to how much money has Sana Cash & Carry stole by trick buyers through this system?
