Reports reaching Avant Publications indicate that all DC’s and all Council CEO’s have been suspended following the mishandling of 6.2 Billion Kwacha Covid-19 funds.
In a leaked memo from Kasungu DC, all the country’s DC’s and Town and City Council CEO’s have been put on suspension.
This comes barely hours after President Lazarous Chakwera made a Public Confession that there was massive plunder of the Covid 19 funds in the district and Town Assemblies in the country.
In leaked memo the DC’s is complaining that they are suffering from the sins of their juniors.
In his speech last evening, Chakwera Charged the country’s Citizen number 2 Dr. Saulos Chilima to institute a special task force to bring sanity in the Public Service which has for long been a haven of plunders!
