The Reach Beyond Foundation has received a K1 million donation from the Pretty Birdies of Lilongwe Golf Club, led by Lady Anchor Harriet Mariani. The donation included menstrual pads, notebooks, soap, pens, and rulers to support vulnerable girls and boys.
The items were presented during a tournament hosted at Lilongwe Golf Club. Vice Captain Mac Nyanda handed them over on behalf of the Pretty Birdies to Reach Beyond Foundation Program Manager, Joyce Msukwa.
Speaking after the handover, Reach Beyond Foundation Executive Director Dorothy Chauya expressed gratitude for the support, describing it as timely and impactful.

She said the donation will enable vulnerable children to return to school with dignity and confidence. For girls, access to hygiene products will reduce absenteeism, while boys will benefit from essential learning supplies.
Chauya emphasized that the initiative aligns with the foundation’s mission of empowering families and creating resilient communities.
She further encouraged continued partnerships with organizations and individuals committed to improving education and child welfare in Malawi.
