Kawale Police have taken into custody a 36-year-old man, Wilson Kalumba for breaking into a building and commiting a felony there in.
On August 5, 2025 a complaint was filed at Area 24 Police Unit that the warehouse of Given Mbaso, a business man in Area 22 has been ransacked by unknown criminals.
These breakers went away with 781 bags of bosalt amounting to K 16 million.
Area 24 detectives hit the ground and their investigations led to the arrest of Wilson Kalumba who revealed that the mission was accomplished with his accomplices who are at large.
The vibrant detectives further recovered 728 bags of bosalt in Salima district where it was stalked in a secured place ready for sell.

Meanwhile investigations are still underway to apprehend his accomplices as for Wilson Kalumba will be appearing in Court to answer the charge leveled against him once the paper work is over.
Wilson Kalumba hails from from Mawelu Village, Traditional Authority Chiwere in Dowa district.
