Police in Kawale continues to engage youthful electrol voters through sports initiative
This follows another of this kind that was organized by Station’s Community Policing Branch in April , this year in Area 24 where police met youths under Tsetse ward, warning them against involvement in political violence.
The Officer In-Charge Mr Davie Chilalire Assistant Commissioner of Police ACP, on August 6,2025 was the guest of honor at Masintha ground during the launch of a 10 days football bonanza.
During these days police will be engaging the patronage who are prospective voters with a special emphasis to the youthful voters to exercise their right with responsibility and warn them from being used by politicians as weapons and agents of political violence during the campaign period and after announcement of results.
The station is posed to meet youths in all constituencies that falls within it’s policing boundaries through out the campaign period grouped according to proximity.
During this bonanza 12 teams within Masintha will tussle for the championship while going home with message of peace, tolerance and responsibility with a common understanding that in every completion there is only one winner.
During the launch, Kawale Police Eagles set the pace as they fought with Kawale select football team.
