Biwi Police Unit under Kawale Police Station on October 26, 2024, breathed a sigh of relief after Skilled Artisan from Tsabango Zone C donated an electric fan.
Biwi Police Unit In-Charge, Inspector Mwiza Kondowe represented the Officer In-Charge (OC) for Kawale Police in receiving the donation.
In his speech, Inspector Kondowe expressed his profound gratitude for the gesture, citing that it will bring comfortability during the rising temperatures.
Said Kondowe. “I don’t take this for granted. This is a clear indication that we have a strong bond with the community around Biwi, which is a plus in the fight against crimes. ” And, by extension, he called other well wishers to emulate the gesture.
Speaking when presenting the donation, Charles Kaliwa said that they thought of addressing the problem upon noticing the rising temperatures and as a token of appreciation to services rendered so far.
The group from Tsabango Zone C, comprised of auto mechanics, auto electricians, panel beaters and tyre fitters within Biwi.They managed to put together financial resources to buy the fan.
The Chair Person for Biwi light weight industry, expressed commitment in actualizing the dream of turning Biwi into a 24 hour market which he attributed to security first.
He therefore hailed Tsabango Zone C team for creating a conducive environment for law enforcers which will help the 24 hour market dream come true.
