ADVANCING MALAWI: INSIGHTS FROM KAMUZU CHIBAMBO

In a recent interview with TIMES TV, Kamuzu Chibambo, the president of the Peoples Transformation Party (PETRA), discussed various ways to improve our country across different sectors.

Chibambo, who previously served as a spokesperson for the Tonse alliance before leaving, criticized the current government for several reasons. He pointed out that the government’s lack of control over spending has led to increased borrowing and inflation. He emphasized the need for the government to be managed like a business, capable of generating income and controlling expenses.

Highlighting the plight of the Malawian people, Chibambo expressed that many have lost faith in the current government. He noted that only a few well-connected individuals are benefiting, while the majority of Malawians are suffering.

Chibambo also highlighted Malawi’s abundant resources, such as the vast water reserves in Lake Malawi and uranium resources in Karonga. He believes that these resources could help the country become more self-sufficient and less reliant on foreign aid.

In conclusion, Chibambo assured Malawians that change is on the horizon and that hope will soon be restored to those who are currently feeling hopeless.
