BULLETS APPOINTS NEW ASSISTANT COACH, VETERANS TAKE ON COACHING ROLES IN JUNIOR TEAM

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have announced the appointment of Zimbabwean Coach Michael Ngore as their new Assistant Coach. Ngore, who previously served as the Club’s data analyst, will take on this new role with immediate effect.

The position had been vacant since the departure of Peter Mponda, who left to join Black Leopards before becoming the head coach of Silver Strikers.Ngore is said to have a strong rapport with Kalisto Pasuwa, the head coach of the team, and will continue to perform his data analyst duties while serving as the Assistant Coach.In addition to Ngore’s appointment, the Club confirmed that Heston Munthali will remain the second assistant coach, and the rest of the technical panel will stay unchanged.

Meanwhile, several veteran players from the quadruple-winning squad last season have announced their retirement from professional football. Henry Kabitchi, John Lanjesi, MacFarlane Mgwira, and Rabson Chiyenda have all hung up their boots and taken on roles in the Junior teams’ technical panels.Kabitchi, who has played for Bullets for over a decade and contributed to multiple trophy wins, has been named the Assistant Coach for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve. Similarly, Lanjesi, who joined the Club from Civil Service United and faced injury challenges, will serve as the physical trainer for the team.Rabson Chiyenda, who penned a heartfelt letter to the Club’s supporters after his release, will now work as the goalkeeping trainer for the Bullets Reserve team. Another Club legend, Chimango Kayira, will join Yamikani Fodya, who recently announced his retirement, as part of the U-19 technical panel. MacFarlane Mgwira will also take on the role of Second Assistant Coach for the U-19 team, while Chikumbutso Jet Lee Kanyenda will serve as the Team Manager.

These changes in the technical panel and coaching staff reflect FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ commitment to continuous growth and improvement, as they look to build on their impressive performance last season and nurture young talent through their Junior teams.
