KADONA STARS FC FINED AND PENALIZED FOR TARDINESS IN NYASA CAPITAL FINANCE CUP

In a recent turn of events, Kadona Stars FC faced the consequences of their late arrival during the Nyasa Capital Finance Cup round of 16 clash against Mayamika Stars FC. The Northern Region Football Association Disciplinary Sub Committee investigated the matter and found Kadona Stars FC guilty of violating article 8 on the schedule and conduction of the 2023 tournament.

The game, scheduled to take place at Mkondezi ground in Nkhatabay on Wednesday, 8 November 2023, saw Kadona Stars FC arriving at the venue after 4:00 PM, a clear breach of the tournament’s regulations. As a result, the Disciplinary Sub Committee took swift action, charging Kadona Stars FC and penalizing them with a 4-2 loss to Mayamiko Stars FC.
