In a heart-stopping finale, Ekwendeni Resource Netball Team emerged victorious in the Salima Sugar Netball League Northern Region, narrowly defeating Karonga Queens with a score of 47-46.

Coach Emily Kachali commended her team’s unwavering tenacity, while Karonga Queens’ coach, Chimwemwe Malange, acknowledged the pivotal missed opportunities that slipped through their grasp.

Ekwendeni Resource Netball Team claimed the championship prize of K300,000, while Karonga Queens earned K200,000 as runners-up.

This epic battle will be forever etched in the memories of fans, showcasing exceptional skill and sportsmanship on both sides.
