The former President of the Republic of Malawi Professor Peter Mutharika says he is still undecided on whether to run as president or not come 2025 general elections.
The former president was speaking to journalists in an interview after a party’s mega rally at St Augustine 3 primary school in Mangochi today.
Mutharika said there are a number of factors he wants to consider before making a decision.
He however indicated that there is a lot of pressure from people almost everyday asking him to run.
Mutharika earlier indicated that there are no divisions in the party as all political heavy weights in the party are under his leadership. He indicated that having different views in the party is normal but the convention will decide.
