As one way of sustaining physical fitness and maintaining good relationship within police officers, Lumbadzi and Kawale Police Stations on May 18, 2022 were involved in friendly sporting matches at Chinkhuti Primary School Ground.
Unity and fitness amongst men in uniform is paramount in the fight against crime, the two top bosses organised the sporting activity as one way of achieving the same.
The two sister stations, shares the same background as they were commissioned as stand alone stations on the same date and recently both stations have registered a decrease in crime.
Kawale took on board three sporting disciplines namely; football, netball and volleyball.

However, the hosting station dominated in football and netball as it cracked down the strong Kawale teams with a margin of 1:0 and 13:12 respectively.
Kawale Male netballer, Recruit Constable Mtendere Mwaba emerged outstanding as he scored all the 12 baskets for his team.
The hosting station had a football team that breathed the wrath until the end of the game with the goal keeper guarding the post jealously.
Kawale Officer in charge, Mr Aubrey Kawale Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) leader of the visiting station had a long drive towards the goal post but was denied a goal by the goal keeper Recruit Constable Benard Kuipakuombola who was very alert and watchful.
Kuipakuombola denied the eagles of Kawale Police socials goals as several attempt went in vain.

Lumbadzi socials registered a goal in the second half through Recruit constable Griffin Sambo with catalystical passes that break the defence of their rivals, sending the ball in the far right corner to kiss the net forcing Sergeant Thomas in the wrong direction.
Determination for the hosting team to register more goals went in limbo as the defence remained solid under the command of Innocent Dzatopetsa and the goal post being well gaurded.
In volleyball, Kawale triumphed as it smashed the hosting team with 48:40 scores.
Watching from the terraces was Lumbadzi Police Officer in Charge, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Mecklina Medi who was joined by the Kawale Station Officer, Superintendent Chrispine Zintambira and Senior Superintendent Helbert Njolwa of Lumbadzi Police to see the end of it all.
After the final whistle, Medi stressed much on interaction and promised a possible visit to Kawale Police Station.
