Kawale Police Station through the office of community policing branch on Thursday, April 28, 2022 had an opportunity to meet skilled artisans of biwi light industry hub.
The meeting that was organised by Biwi Light Industry Association themed Tiziwane campaign program aimed at knowing a neighbor and do business in coorperatives.
The councilor Felix Tsokonombwe hailed the concept and urged the leaders to avoid favouritism in its administration.
Speaking during the meeting Kawale community policing coordinator, Inspector Mayeso Chikadza highlighted on security issues where tips on crime prevention and sexual and gender based violence were articulated.
“When you find money, build your families and never abuse your wives”said Chikadza.
Chikadza further advised male participants to open up to other responsible people in society if they are distressed with financial issues or family matters other than taking their own lives.
Malani Gondwe, the chairman for the grouping was greatful to the tips shared and promised to join law enforcers in the fight against crime and SGBV as they join hands together as people with various skills in Biwi in uplifting their financial aspect.
” We will also address issues of dishonesty of some mechanics who tend to give false hopes to their clients, if you know you can not fix the car of a client it’s good to openly say it and refer him to the one who can manage ” Gondwe said.
Inspector Edwin Mchekeni and Sub Inspector Malton Kukada attended the function.
Earlier on Kukada had an ample time to emphasized the importance of being in groups citing that this can take them far in business circles.
