A group of concerned citizens in Nsanje teamed up on Wednesday against Nyanthepa Community Radio for allegedly being biased towards Senior Chief Malemia.According to the sources, the local people held demonstrations accusing the senior chief of abusing his power of which among others is selling land and grabbing properties.According to one concerned person, Christopher Dzowa, the people demonstrated while the inquiry on the matter instituted by President Chakwera is not yet released.
The radio didn’t cover their demonstrations which they presented their petition to Nsanje District Commissioner, Dr Medson Matchaya.Commenting on the matter, the station is said to not have covered the demonstrations since the demonstrators did not follow certain procedures.
