Paramount Chief Kyungu of Karonga and Chitipa Districts has told President Dr Lazarus Chakwera to use what he called democratic dictatorship to deal with the people who are frustrating government programs in the country.
The Chief of the Ngonde was speaking at Chinsogholo Ground in Karonga where the president conducted a developmental rally.
The Chief also asked the government to help the people of Karonga and Chitipa with food relief as the districts will not have enough yield.
He further said that Karonga District has no council offices following the demonstrations against the 2019 election results which ended up in torching the council’s offices which the chief were not again on the standards of the developing town.
