The celebrated Cash Madam (as we call her for the last time) real name Dorothy Shonga Née Nkhoma who was self claimed to be the “Only true boss lady in Malawi has from immediate effect advised the general public never to address her using that title.
The development which appears looming to her followers came in surprise since many of them got used calling her Cash Madam
“Cash Madam now and forever, how can we stop now when we got used” commented one her followers on Facebook.
“No, no, no! I can’t stop now musanatione kenakake. You will remain Cash Madam until your generosity reaches us all” another comment on her social media pages.
In her post, Cash Madam was quoted verbatim:
“PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
The General Public is advised that I, Dorothy Shonga, cease to be called/addressed as Cash Madam with immediate effect. The Cash madam name birthed in Uganda following my PSR activities that benefited the needy in a unique way
I am not a giver because have plentiful but a heart that’s rooted on caring for the have nots. The name change will not by all means affect my passion for giving but shift it to a more robust platform.
This is a personal and timely decision that’s in line with my future Personal, Business Development Goals. The said will create space for an effective platform to share my time, finances, skills with the needy in the space of personal social responsibility ( PSR) through a foundation that’s soon to be registered/launched.
