World Star Bet (WSB) Malawi has announced its support for the upcoming 2024 National Beach Soccer Championship by sponsoring kits for all six participating teams.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, WSB General Manager Timothy Kandimba said the company’s core values align with the spirit of the championship, which is why they chose to sponsor the teams with brand-new jerseys.
He also revealed that people should expect various exciting activities in Salima during the tournament, including T-shirt giveaways and on-site customer registration.
Chairperson of the National Beach Soccer Association, Force Ngwira, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the unexpected sponsorship. He also thanked the President of the Football Association of Malawi (FAM), Fleetwood Haiya, for playing a key role in securing the partnership.
The K6 million sponsorship deal between WSB and FAM ensures that all teams will be fully kitted for the two-day tournament, which is scheduled to take place at Livingstonia Beach in Salima from April 26 to 27.
