Kawale Police Station Officer (SO), Senior Supritendent Gladys Chiwaula has on February 9, 2026 set a remarkable example on patrol duties by joining officers on foot patrols which is a catalyst to enhance police visibility in the area,
Speaking during the briefing of officers in preparation for foot patrols, she emphasized the importance of Police presence in the area.
“Let’s conduct foot patrols with due deligence, vigilance and always observe our time” Said Chiwaula.
Additionally, Senior Supritendent Gladys Chiwaula urged officers to use the communication gadgets effectively.
After the briefing, she actively joined officers on patrol duties, she led Kawale foot patrol team and managed to visit different areas within Kawale 1.
This is a demonstration of leading by example which she encouraged other senior officers to follow suit.
Following the foot steps of the Station Officer (SO), other senior officers joined the move.On the other part Supritendent Mike Simika (GDO) also led another team of officers to monitor situation through foot patrols.
