Former Editor In-Chief of Times Group George Kasakula saved his last day at Times Group yesterday, 7th June 2021 when he bade farewell to some of the team he worked with.
The firebrand Kasakula described the six years he has been at the helm of Times Group as successful ones.
He then thanked the team for supporting him during his tenure of office citing the company’s outstanding work was as a result of unity.
The farewell comes after he was appointed as the Director General (DG) of the state funded Malawi Broadcasting Cooperation (MBC).
From 8th June 2021, Kasakula will start his new job as the DG of MBC, an institution he earlier suggested that it need to be sanitized.
Despite being the Editor In-Chief of Times, Kasakula was known for his un-fearless stand when tackling issues of national importance during the past era.
