AVANT has the reports indicating that 12 Bangula Secondary School students have tested positive to COVID-19. Nsanje District Health Office Spokesperson, George Mbotwa has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
The students have now been put on isolation.
This comes after 45 students from Nsanje secondary school also tested positive weeks ago. Meanwhile the Nsanje Secondary students have now recovered as the headteacher of the school, Overton Chikuni has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
Over1300 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the country since Malawi recorded the first victim last year.
