KATAWA CCAP ON FUNDRAISING DRIVE-BLESSED GIFT PHIRI

Katawa CCAP has embarked on another high level fundraising drive barely few days after blessing the family of Gift Phiri with assorted items worthy K335, 000.

Katawa CCAP has engaged the Church and Society to assist in taking care of the less previledged family. During the meeting, the two sides agreed to work hand in hand in improving the welfare of the family of Gift.

In its remarks, Church and Society Synod Office through its representatives Mr Gary and Fannie promised to take a great role in assisting the family of the minor and the talented Gift.

Katawa CCAP through Mr Daniel Nkhata and Mrs Mwambazi vowed not to let down Gift, his grandmother and the whole family but rather take heed in fundraising more for them. “We serve the living God who encourages us to share what He has blessed us with, to bless others, as a church we are planning for more activities to fundraise for Gift Phiri and family” Mrs Mwambazi gladly expressed her full dedication towards their drive.

Gift Phiri is a young talented boy who became the household Head at the age of nine, he earned for the family through Charcoal burner making. Gift stays in Mchenga utuwa – Mzuzu but now he has turned tools down and went back to school as the family earns through the donations and assistance from well-wishers.

Avantmalawi extends its gratitudes to Katawa CCAP and all Malawians and beyond who are assisting this family. The family has no permanent house as well some may think of assist them.

  1. Bravo Katawa, may God Almighty bless u more as u continue assist this young boy Gift and family for him to do school and stand on his own in the near future, Amen!
