Being found in possession of Cannabis sativa without a license. Occurred today 29/03/21 at around 1700 hrs at Luluzi area in Chief Kafuzira’s area. D/S/Insp Malinda, C/O Nkhunga Police Station reports the above case against unknown persons who were keeping bags of Cannabis sativa in two houses. Seizure but not arrest made so far.
Brief facts are that the reporter received a tip that at the said village, there are two houses where Cannabis sativa have been stored. Then together with his team they raided the place where the house owners escaped and after searching, over 243 bags of the illicit drug were found and seized using a five tonne Lorry and a Foton pick up. Meanwhile investigations to trace and arrest the suspects are under way. NKH/SR/13/03/21
