Intern makes KEY error – German prison CHANGES all 600 LOCKS after WhatsApp photo
A German prison near Berlin was forced to change all its locks – after an intern SHARED a picture of the keys with friends on WhatsApp.
The security gaffe has cost the prison a whopping £43,000 according to German media.
The potential security breach reached judicial authorities who feared a mass breakout from the prison’s 647 inmates.
The trainee has had his internship terminated and a government official told Bild – he may still have to foot the £43,000 bill!
