Malawi’s oldest musician, Giddes Chalamanda (A GIDDIE) has received another blessing in kind from Malawian women staying in Europe who organised themselves and contributed a little something to aid him with a magnificent house as a birthday present.
The house upon completion has been handed over to Agidde on Friday 15th January, 2021 which is his birthday. Giddes Chalamanda has just turned 91 years of age.
The gift follows the interview Mr Chalamanda had with Patience Namadingo when they were recording their Mash up video song.
It was Namadingo himself through FDH Bank who started Mr Chalamanda’s old age life transformation journey by paying him half a million as payment for the mash up and two million kwacha grocery start up capital both in materials and cash.
Bravo Namadingo and our women staying overseas for the timely support to our own Chalamanda. Currently the aged granny is trending on the social media with pictures of him holding beautiful young ladies while on stage. Indeed age is just a number.
