Kawale Traffic Police impound 55 Motor-vehicles for contravening traffic regulations

Traffic Police Officers in Kawale have on March 5, 2026 impounded fifty-five motor vehicles for breaching road traffic rules and regulations.

Steering the operation, Assistant Supritendent John Benjamin Nyangulu, Station Traffic Officer (STO), made sure that unroadworthy motor vehicles were booked against the offence committed.

Some motorists were on traffic grips for using goods vehicles to carry passengers for reward and exceeding carrying capacity.

During the operation traffic officers targeted Area 24 and Biwi routes.

The impounded vehicles have been parked at Area 24 and Kawale Police with some being off the hook after paying fines.

Meanwhile, Police in the area warns motorists against breaching road traffic rules.
