Kawale Police through Community Policing branch on Wednesday, November 19,2025 collaborated with the Parliamentarian of the Area, Hon Juliana Kaduya in fostering peace towards Affordable Input Program (AIP) adminisering.
During the meeting which took place at Kawale Police Station premises, chiefs were the main target stakeholders.
Kawale Police OC, Mr Davie Chiralire Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) urged chiefs to be transparent, and shun away corrupt mindset.
Mr Chiralire (DCP) made the call after receiving reports of discontented individuals over the village administrative committee tasked to handle the AIP in the area.

Mr Davie Chiralire (DCP) highlighted the need for chiefs to be exemplary in such government programs as any deviation to such is a breach of the laws of this country and once discovered risks arrests.
Honorable Juliana Kaduya Member for Masintha constituency echoed the OC’s sentiments and further asked chiefs to be custodian of peace in their respective areas, including on AIP.
She unveils herself as a member of parliament for everybody in Masintha constituency without looking at party colors, thereby calling chiefs to lead people in one accord.
This meeting, attracted over 200 Chiefs and so far it has settled the grievances among the chiefs and their subjects as an agreement has been made to have a new village administrative committee as a replacement of the former, which will be accepted by all.

Meanwhile, chiefs have welcomed the idea of having a new committed and further promised to do it with speed so that beneficiaries start accessing the subsidised fertilizers which the ministry of Agriculture has already offloaded in the area
