Police, Mulodza Wild life Club lobby communites in environmental conservation

Police in Kawale in conjunction with Mulodza Primary School learners who are in Wild life Club have urged communities in Area 23 to take a leading role in conserving the environment through tree planting.

The call was made on February 7, 2025 during Mulodza tree planting day.

Before the actual planting exercise, the Station Officer (S/O) Senior Superintendent Alex Zimba led Police Officers from Kawale and Area 23 in a co-joined parade with Teachers and learners in the Wild Life Club at Mulodza School .

Carrying seedlings that were donated by Kawale Police while parading was enough message to expound the reason for the route march which started from Area 23 Chipiku stores to the school campus.

Addressing participants, Senior Superintendent Alex Zimba urged learners to take responsibility in the protection of the planted seedlings.

Senior Superintendent Zimba explained to the learners the uncountable benefits of trees to human race and stressed on the need in conserving environment.

The Head Teacher,Mrs Loncy Msunga Banda concurred with the Station Officer (S/O) Senior Superintendent Alex Zimba and further expressed her profound gratitude to Kawale Police Management for donating seedlings and participating in the planting exercise which has added value to the function.

The seedlings were a mixture of fruit trees and non fruits
