The Botanic Gardens in Lilongwe became a hub of activity as thousands gathered for an anointing service led by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, the leader of the ECG Jesus Nation Church. The event precedes the much-anticipated “Night of Goshen Crossover,” set to take place at the Auction Holdings Limited Auditorium in the city.
By early morning, long queues of attendees had already formed, eager to participate in the anointing service. Prophet Bushiri shared insights into the significance of the event, explaining its theme, “Night of Goshen,” which symbolizes abundance and prosperity.
Drawing inspiration from the biblical land of Goshen, where the Israelites thrived amidst turmoil in Egypt, Bushiri highlighted its relevance today. “Goshen was not just a place of plenty; it was home to people who executed their plans with strategic precision. Likewise, believers today must embrace innovative thinking to glorify God,” he said.
He further emphasized that the “Night of Goshen” serves as a beacon of hope, encouraging Christians to navigate global financial challenges with faith and resilience.
The event has also garnered attention from the Malawian government. Minister of Tourism Vera Kamtukule praised Bushiri’s efforts, acknowledging the positive impact his ministry has on promoting tourism in Malawi.
Bushiri’s influence continues to extend beyond spiritual matters, leaving a mark on the nation’s cultural and economic landscape.
