KHUDA MUYABA’s JOURNEY ENDS PREMATURELY

Malawi’s national team striker, Khuda Muyaba, has found himself on the market as a free agent due to the sudden termination of his contract with a Syria-based club. Muyaba’s journey with the club, which began in August with a lucrative MK21 Million deal, has taken an unexpected twist, with the exact reasons behind the contract termination remaining shrouded in secrecy.

The club made an official announcement about this decision on their Facebook page, originally in Arabic and later translated into English as “Player Koda Miapa’s contract officially terminated.”

Interestingly, Muyaba has remained tight-lipped about the situation, refraining from making any public statements. The decision to terminate his contract came shortly after the club’s disappointing 2-0 loss to Al-Wothba.

Muyaba had initially made a strong impression during friendly matches but struggled to replicate that success in league games, ultimately leading to the club’s decision to part ways with him.

This development has ignited fervent debates among fans. Some are critical of the club’s administration, while others argue that Muyaba’s strong performances were confined to friendly matches.

One fan commented, “It’s clear that his performance didn’t live up to expectations, and it appeared to regress. However, we can hope that this serves as a lesson for future players to truly dedicate themselves to the club.”

Another fan offered an alternate perspective, saying, “This decision might make it easier for us to accept losses. What could this unfortunate man have possibly done?”

Tishreen Sporting Club has played four league games in the current season, securing two wins and suffering one loss. They currently occupy the fifth position on the table with 7 points, trailing the leaders, Foutoua, by 3 points.
