KAYUNI SAID ALLEGATIONS HAD NO EVIDENCE–NTABA

Former-aide for the former President Peter Mutharika, Dr. Hetherwick Ntaba claims the current Director of Public Prosecutions-DPP Steve Kayuni once told him the allegations connecting him to the killings of persons with albinism were so wild and baseless with no evidence.

Dr. Ntaba said at that time Kayuni was the Chief State Advocate and directly involved in the prosecution of a case involving the brutal murder of a young man with albinism in Machinga, Macdonald Masambuka.

Ntaba, who says he offered himself for cross-examination in open court, says he is shocked that Kayuni is now ordering the police to commence criminal investigations against him and Mutharika.

Meanwhile, Kayuni is yet to comment on Dr. Ntaba’s claims.

Dr Ntaba added that some of the allegations indicate that he and Professor Mutharika own a very expensive machine which turns the bones of persons with albinism into money, a claim which he said is very absurd to a sane person.

He has henceforth asked President Lazarus Chakwera to release the inquiry report on the abductions and killings of persons with albinism for the public to know the truth.
