For SDCP and RCIO crime stuation report MURDER. Occurred
on 17/02/2022 around 1530hrs at Mpima forest along Mangochi – Liwonde road. A/supt Kasikiti STO c/o Mangochi police station reports in that no 4034 T/sgt. Patricia Chinguwo DOB 02/04/1995 of vge Benjamini T/a Kaduku Dist Mwanza C/o Mangochi police had been hit to death by Toyota sienta reg no MH 8641 driven by Saidi Malora aged 28yrs vge Chindogo T/a Mponda Dist Mangochi
Brief facts of the case are that, Mangochi
traffic Officers were on traffic check at mpima forest along Mangochi _ Liwonde road, namely: B0083 T/Sub. Kalyolyo
B0132 T/ Sub. Solo
2198 T/Sub Christina Chibwe
4032 T/Sgt. Patricia Chinguwo and cashier 3057 Sub. Loveness Chingota.
While performing duties, motor vehicle reg.no MH 8641Toyota sienta red in color with no passengers driven at a high spead from the direction of Mangochi heading Liwonde hit two cones and didn’t stop. After about 20 minutes the officers saw the same vehicle from the direction of Liwonde heading Mangochi at a very high speed . The officers alerted each other and ran away from the road and the vehicle hit T/Sgt. Patricia Chinguwo to the near side dirty Verge and didn’t stop.
Following the impact the officer sustained fractures both legs, arms and severe head injury and she was rushed to Mangochi Dist hospital where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Postmorterm examination conducted at Mangochi Dist hospital which revealed that
death was due to Haerrmolage shock caused by multiple fractures.
Police conducted manhaunt which led to the arrest of the suspect at Ndata residential area and impounded the used motor vehicle. MG/CR/31/02/2022. refers ///////////////////////
