CHAOS AS CCAP PASTOR REFUSES A TRANSFER

Christians of the St Pauls CCAP of Blantyre Synod are exchanging blows following a disagreement that has ensued over the transfer of the Church’s pastor.

Few days ago, the leadership of CCAP’s Blantyre Synod effected 61 transfers for ministers that has affected several others including Rev. Maxwell Mbewe of St Pauls CCAP in Chiwembe, Blantyre.

Sources from the Church reveal that this did not go down well with the Pastor who has only been with the Church for less than 2 years.

He allegedly mobilized some faithfuls to object the transfer.

Meanwhile the vehicle that is supposed to transfer him arrived this morning, only to find the gate to his house closed and some christians threatening to set it on fire.

Police has however moved in to calm tbe situation.

Efforts to talk to the Synod’s General Secretary Rev. Billy Gama proved futile as his phone could not be reached.
