Malawi National Football Team (The Flames) have beaten Zimbabwe ( Warriors) 2-1 to collect maximum points in their second AFCON encounter.
Zimbabwe was on target in the 38th minute through Ishmael Wadi.
The Flames equalised in the 43rd minute after Gabadinho Mhango connected a beautiful volley from Francisco Madinga.
The teams went into recess tied at 1-1.
Mhango led Malawi in the 58th Minute after breaking through the Zimbabwe defence and tapping the ball into the net.
The Flames next encounter is on 18th January when they will take on Senegal.
