State has appealed Kottana Chidyaonga’s Murder case high court ruling

The state through its lawyer Steven Kayuni has appealed to the supreme court a ruling made by high court judge Thomson Ligowe which found four murder case suspects in Kottana Chidyaonga’ death with no offence to answer since the state failed to bring tangible evidence before court despite parading over seven witnesses.

The State lawyer Mr Kayuni noted some notches in the ruling which led to justice being distorted.

www.avantmalawi.com can confirm that the sate through its lawyers has filed about seven grounds of appeal and presented to the supreme Court of appeal for review.
