A standard 8 learner at Bembeke Roman Catholic Church primary school in Dedza gave birth to a baby boy last week Tuesday night and on Wednesday she was in class writing the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education examinations.
The girl has said that despite some complications during delivery, she was still able to walk on foot from Kuthindi village to Bembeke RC to write examinations.
Meanwhile the girl’s mother was nursing the grandson while she sat for her examination.
The teen mother finished writing examinations and is optimistic she will do well and proceed to secondary school.
