CCAP GENERAL ASSEMBLY SPEAKS ON THE RECENT PUBLIC GATHERING ORDER IN FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19 SPREAD

The CCAP General Assembly which is composed of Livingstonia, Nkhoma and Blantyre Synods has defined the government’s new restrictions on public gatherings as an indirect attack and disclosed that this will weaken religious bodies.

The CCAP Main body concluded that it will maintain services with not more than 100 people, as conditioned earlier.

But emphasised that it will continue to engage govt in reviewing the current public gathering conditions recently announced by the Attorney General.
